During your next visit to New Jersey, you're sure to find just the ticket for a great and memorable stay. You'll find a wide range of historic sites to visit, a variety of family-first destinations – Dreyfuss Planetarium, anyone? – and some truly unique roadside attractions.

No matter how you enjoy your time in New Jersey, be sure to spend some of it exploring the Delaware River Region, home to cities like Trenton and Bordentown – and most certainly the home of Princeton University

Make the short drive in from nearby Monmouth Junction and be sure to explore the campus at Princeton, one of the most famous schools on the planet, and just one of the eight Ivy League schools found across the northeast. You can find Princeton just off of Highway 1, intersected by Washington Road.

Originally founded in 1746 as the College of New Jersey, Princeton, today, features an average undergraduate student body of around 5,400. It's campus sprawls across 500 lush and stunning acres in the Skylands, and is home to a wealth of historic and must-see buildings.

Embark upon your Princeton campus tour and be sure to check out Alexander Hall, the main concert venue at Princeton. Nassau Hall, built in 1756, is another must-see site, as it's one of the state's oldest buildings, and home of the New Jersey Legislature. Some of the residence halls include Blair Hall, Holder Hall, and Walker Hall.

The Princeton University Art Museum is one of those destinations in NJ you'll no doubt enjoy. Opened in 1882, this art museum features a collection of more than 92,000 objects. Plan for a tour during your Princeton visit.

Sports fans will have much to cheer about at Princeton. There are 31 varsity teams in all – catch the Princeton Tigers compete in sports like football, ice hockey, and soccer. Princeton Tigers football games are played at Princeton University Field, hockey matches at Baker Rink, and soccer matches at Roberts Stadium
