Sandy Hook is a 2,044-acre barrier beach and peninsula, where you'll find hiking trails, a maritime holly forest, and salt water marshes.

Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area

Found on the Pennsylvania and New Jersey border, the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area preserves long stretches of the Delaware River. With nearly 66,000 acres to explore, the Delaware Water Gap is an exceptional choice for outdoor fun in NJ. Make the scenic drive in from Morristown for an unmatched outdoor experience. 

The Old Mine Road yields excellent mountain biking trails, while the Delaware River features a stretch of 40 miles of free-flowing water, ideal for boating, kayaking, and canoes.
